Up for auction is my fiance's 2000 Mercedes SLK230 Limited with only 59000 miles. Car is in near perfect cosmetic condition. Deep shine from the ALL ORIGINAL paint...NO paintwork. Factory 17" Limited wheels that were recently refinished and cleared. Interior extremely clean, not a single tear or even cracks in the two tone leather. Only blemish inside is on the center console and is shown in one of the pictures. The bad...the car sat in our garage for about nine months and now we can't get it to start. The key fob will not unlock the doors either. The top works and all the lights but when you turn the key it just clicks. I drained and changed all the oil and added fresh fuel before we even turned the key but nothing happened. We don't use the car and aren't able to put any money in it. I talked to a Mercedes tech and he said it sounds like a "PSE pump" that controls the central locking system. The part costs $575 at the Mercedes dealer but we cannot afford it so the car is being sold AS IS. I do have brand new rotors for the car that I never had installed and are still in the box and will be included. I don't have to tell any of you how great of a buy this could be if you can put some money into it so bid accordingly. Car blue books for around $12500 so you could get it for better than half the price. Good luck bidding!
