I'm selling this very nice and highly modified 1969 Datsun 510 for a good friend of mine. He's getting a little old for this car and to be honest he says it scares the crap out of him. I drove it the other day and it is very quick. Pretty much spins the wheels in the first 3 gears no problem. Here are some details on the car. 18,000 since total go through on the Car. The Engine is a rebuilt Nissan VG30 3.0 V6 with Isky Cams and a High volume oil pump. Custom built headers. Runs very strong thanks to a massive Procharger D1 supercharger. The car runs the stock fuel injection for the V6 with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and bigger injectors. Add a megasquirt setup to take it to the next level. Although I dont see why you would need to. This Car hauls. Custom aluminum radiator. Never Dynoed but Est. 300+ HP and sounds Evil. Tranmission is the factory Nissan unit which is a Borg Warner T5 I believe. New Turbo clutch installed when the car was built. The rear defferential is a Subaru 3.7 LSD which are getting hard to come by cheap. The Engine has plenty of balls to pull the taller gears. Suspension consists of Suspension Techniques springs and Tokico shocks in rear and KYB in front. Also has a TC kit up front and front and rear sway bars. Urethane bushings throughout. Brakes are Billet Willwood racing calipers up front with 2 piece rotors and maxima discs and calipers in rear. Parking brake is functional. 15X6 Turbo ZX wheels with Yokohama tires. Interior had new carpet and the rear seat recovered when the car was done. Also a black vinyl headliner. The Car is a 69 although at time of build he could not locate a decent 69 dash so he opted for the more common 70 and later dash. Which I like better anyway. New dash wiring harness. New ignition switch, headlight switch, wiper switch and Fuse box. Has early Mazda RX7 seats up front which have a good look. Blaupunkt CD player and extra gauges mounted above heater. Personal steering wheel with Datsun horn button. The Car was built from a totaly rust free shell that lived in the CA desert most of its life. Never hit. Straight body. At time of build it got new rubber on front and rear glass, doors and trunk. New windshield which is a biggie in my opinion. Windshield is perfect. New side trim on doors. New fender trim on front. Nice straight grille. NOS taillight assemblies. Has a BRE style front spoiler. Bumpers were rechromed and sraightened. Solex locks on doors and trunk. The car was painted at time of build. I would describe it as good driver quality paint. Not a show car. Although very nice and absolutely gets looks around town. I have tried to described this Car to the best of my knowledge as it is not my Car I might have forgot a few things. I will re-state this is a good clean driver that is highly modified and NOT A SHOW CAR! Please ask as many question as you like. Thank you.
