mort1030 store I am putting up for sale a 1973 Ford Maverick 2 door sedan. This was going to be a project car for my son and myself, but we decided to go with a different car. Let me start off by saying that the car runs great. Brakes are a little rough but again work. It just needs the right person to restorate this little beauty. The overall condition I would say is very good. Body/chrome is complete but does have some minor dents/scratches/light rust that need repair. The largest dent is on the hood toward the front. The major rust concern would be right lower front fender. Back bumper shows it being slightly bent. Otherwise, just usual scratches, etc. I did find a front grill for the car (old one is included but broken) but don't have it properly installed. Interior is in very good condition. Major issue is front bench seat has split. Window handles are missing the end knobs, but again nothing major. Car does have some light red spray paint on front right fender and hub cap. I have tried to include several pictures, but please e-mail with any questions. Car highlights: 63,798 actual miles, 250 cubic inch 6 cyl. - automatic - tires in excellent condition - headlight/taillight/backup lights/interior lights all work (not sure about blinkers because front grill is not installed?) - trunk is in excellent condition and has spare - head liner is tight - light powder blue exterior color - darker blue interior color - has been faithfully serviced since 1974 (car was in my family) - stored inside - windows are in great shape with no cracks - just a nice restoration project waiting for you. The car is located in southeast Nebraska about 65 miles from Lincoln. Buyer needs to arrange for pick-up/transportation from my location. I have a clear title and will have ready.
