I am selling my 57 hoping it will go to someone that will get it restored. With my fourth child just born there is no way i would have time or the funds to restore it. Kind of a neat story behind this car, it sat at a farm for 25 years or more. The old boy and his mother would never sell it because it was her sons who was killed Vietnam in the early 70's and she would never sell it. Everyone within 150 miles tried to buy it, was know for the black 57 that no one could buy. Well i bought about a year and a half ago and have not done anything to it and with a new baby won't be able to. So here there is the background of the car, as you can see it needs totally restored. The frame is in good shape will need front floor boards rear boards and trunk floor look to be in good shape. I found seats for it because they were stolen out of it over the years, but i found original front and rear. This is one of those cars that could be restored both ways. It has all the original parts engine trans and rear end or do a resto mod the way you want it.. The old boy pulled the motor years ago so no one would steal it. The only original parts i don't have is the grill wheels and the air cleaner. This old car is very restorable and would make a nice car for someone.
