Vehicle Detail

Classic FWD Dodge 1984 Convertible. 2.2 Engine. Well maintained All emission and engine controls intact. AM/FM/Cassette/with CD. Control dash mounted. CD Has a trunk mounted 6 disc changer. A/C Works fine. Interior has Front and Rear Burgandy cloth covers. [Original white pleather underneath, drivers side only has splits in seat bottom in the original covers. You would need to locate a drivers side bucket seat in white or have it recovered/repaired if desired to change back to all white.] New: Carpet Muffler Dash pad Wheel Covers 2 bbl Holley Carb Emission Air Pump Note: This car has the factory 2bbl Holley Carb. Whats the pro's and con's? Pros: Are that you or most mechanics can service this 2.2 engine if needed. Also you can adjust timing if desired for more"off line" pick up,and also make carb adjustments for more power Another point to consider is although turbos are nice as far as more power "on demand".........if you have never owned a 2.2 turbo before they require maint. A lot of it. I know,I owned a turbo before and have experienced the headaches of stopping for gas and having to wait over 10 mins or so before the 2.2 turbo cooled down enough to restart. Also if you have never worked on a turbo 2.2 in a tight engine compartment before, get ready to learn how to. Most of the techs that serviced them back in the mid 80's are getting harder and harder to find. Cons of having the carb: Overall idle sound when loaded down with the A/C on when stopping at lights. They constantly seem like they are about to stall. (But this was also experienced with a turbo I owned also). So there it is. That has been my experience in the past with mid 80's 2.2 Mopar engines. But if your looking for a nice dependable convertible for cruising around this summer, this one is worth a second look. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!!!!!.....HIGHEST BIDDER WINS IT!!!!!!!!!
