Selling my baby... I absolutely hate to sell this car. It has been a dream of mine to fix one of these up but due to a bad break from the tax man, I owe the IRS because my tax place screwed up my 09 taxes so guess what... My project has to go. I toyed with the idea of selling my 01 camry instead but I work for a toyota plant and my commute is 70 miles a day, so it just wouldn't make sense. So here it is. My loss is your gain. It does'nt look like much but it has a TON of potential!!! Never molested. All factory parts are there, just needs some work. When I got it, it had blown brake lines, so the entire brake system is new. New hoses, calipers, booster, master cyl, pads on all four corners (Yes 4-wheel disc!), and a complete fluid flush. This comes with two sets of wheels. The factory in the extra picture, and the ones on the car which were the original GT4 J-spec wheels painted black with brand new falken Ziex tires. It also comes with a brand new hi-flow header and downpipe shown in pictures. The reason I bought this is because the factory h-pipe cat is clogged which is the main reason I stopped driving the car. It is still driveable, and starts right up but lacks power and I did not want to risk damaging the motor. The only other thing that I can think of that is wrong mechanically is the check engine light comes on showing a code for a air flow meter, and the battery will no longer hold a charge from sitting. It runs great, but sometimes has an erradic idle, and the low power at high rpm from the clogged cat. The fuse for the dome light which runs the radio keeps blowing which is why the radio is out. It will come with the radio from it or the one from my camry. they both fit. The body needs paint. As you can tell I started to paint it army green. I know not everybodies thing but it was done right with self etching primer then epoxy primer to seal the rust before the sealer and color went on but I found out I was going to have to sell it so I did'nt finish it since I know the odds of someone else wanting the same color is slim. The interior is slightly faded but no rips or tears. Needs a new shift boot, and steering wheel needs recovered. Other than that, all of the parts are there. Some of the exterior trim needs new clips. Keep in mind this is an extremely rare car that is worth quite a bit of money if fixed up. These are getting harder and harder to find. I am also including new front CV axles with the car. The boots were torn but I just bought complete axles. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I have a clear title in hand and may consider trades if it is something I can make money on. Thanks for looking, and good luck!!!On Jun-23-11 at 12:57:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had many questions about ending the auction early. I do have the car for sell locally and am asking $1500 for it so I do reserve the right to end the auction if it sells. I have over $2000 invested in the car. I know it does'nt look like much but it is a rare car. I'm sure if you are watching this auction you already know all about them. Thanks, Jonathan
