The Cressida runs well and has gotten very light use over the past 7 years. The car has been in my family since it was purchased new in 1984 by my grandfather. He passed it on to me about 10 years ago. It was garaged for the first 18 years of its life, but has been kept outside since 2004. I'll do my best to give you the most helpful details about the car. It has never been in an accident nor has it ever had any water damage. The transmission was replaced at about 150k miles. It has no dents. It has only a few small scratches and a couple of the scratches have begun to rust. Features: Engine: 5M-GE, 156 hp Transmission: 4-speed auto Rear-wheel drive ~225k miles Leather interior ECT (Electronically-Controlled Transmission) Power door locks Power windows Power sunroof After-market CD/receiver 1-yr old battery < 500 miles on the current alternator Here are the negatives: There is an oil leak. The power steering system has a fluid leak. The leak is easily identified and the replacement part is ~$50. There is a hole in the muffler. There is a small seam-tear in the leather of the driver's seat. There is a small seam-tear in the leather on the back of the rear passenger side seat near the headrest. The tires need to be replaced (one has a hole). The washer fluid sprayer pump does not work. The A.C. needs to be re-charged. Apart from it being an old car and the things above, I can't think of any other negatives about it.
