Vehicle Detail

Fully built to do anything the heart desires 1969 Camaro Pro-Touring. Car was purchases in 2007 as a stock 1969 Camaro, it came with a 350 Chevy engine and stock running gear. We drove it that way for a while then got into a full ground pounding build, the car as it sits today is after two years of hard work by several builders, and $ 125K invested. The car is not a number matching SS, original color was green, and a standard Camaro. There is so much information so please take the time to read the listing. Let’s start with the power plant. Fully built motor done by one of the best engine builders we have here in northern California – REX Hutchison . Dyno sheet available with complete motor build specs. Engine is a 427ci (4.125 bore ) small block that made 572.24 horsepower at 5900rpm and 549.21 lbft at 4800rpm. Using on the best parts available, ROSS 99466 pistons with Akerly & Childs rings, eagle brushed rods, Comp cams 576 lift intake and 571 exhaust with 280 -288 duration lift, roller hyd rockers, Brodix heads-valves-springs, Accell intake and DFI custom mapped injected fuel system ( done by AutoTrend EFI ), nicest serpentine belt systems with A/C , Comp Hooker headers, and a ton more of goodies. For giggles it has another 100+hp shot of NOS which you will need to change the mapping if you want to use.( the pictures will tell the story ) Now the transmission is a fully built 700R4 from ATO to handle well into the 700 ++ horsepower range, custom valve body and it shifts perfect, not to hard when you just want to cruise, but neck snapping when you got your foot to the floor!! To finish off the drive train you will see a fully built 9inch with 35 spline Strange axles and carriers (3.55 gears) Detroit locker. Let’s move onto the Suspension and braking on this amazing 1969 Camaro. Starting with the rear is a G-Machine linked rear suspension with Koni fully adjustable Coil-overs and massive Baer brakes with E-brake link, front is all new upper and lowers with a nice sway bar. Again huge Bear Brakes up front with custom hard and stainless lines. Line lock for the strip ( just incase you want to go to your local Grudge night drag racing event , which I wouldn’t suggest because you’ll be kicked off the track on your first run – to fast J ) Fully adjustable bias for the brakes as well. The wheels and tires mean business with a 18x12 rear custom rims wrapped in 335/30/18 tires and the front 17x8.5 wrapped in 225/45/17. Just about everything on this thing is built to go to war, never worry about breaking parts or not having this car do what you want. From taking the wife out on the town, or crushing the kido’s at the local drag strip, ripping it through the twisties on your favorite back roads. This car will do it all. Body and paint is nice, not show quality but it looks extremely straight. Some chips here and there but nothing of major concern . I would rate the exterior paint around a 7 or an 8. Interior is flawless, nice classic style camaro interior with a rockin sound system and gauges to keep an eye on everything. Alarm system and again extremely nice interior. Just about every single thing has been replaced or restored on this camaro and it’s truly something to be proud of. I can go on and on about this camaro, it’s was built with the intentions of being used and used some more. You will not be disappointed if you’re looking for a true driver that you can really enjoy driving. Auto Appraisal Network did a full appraisal on the car at a replacement valve of $91,000; the appraisal is scanned in a PDF format to be email to real buyers, along with the fully spec engine build sheets and dyno results. Have over $125,000 in the car the way it sits now. My reserve is extremely low; wife says I have too many toys. Your going to be blown away when you drive this tire shredding, ground pounding, heart pumping, classic looking 1969 camaro. Only 5500 miles since complete transformation.
