1978 Honda CB

For sale is a 1978 Honda CB750K with only 21,838 miles. This is being re-listed because the winning bidder (ohitsyou( 415) didn't follow through with the deposit, didn't answer any of my e-mails and his phone was disconnected. Oh well, moving on, the man I purchased this bike from bought it when it was only a year old. Is the bike perfect?.....no. Is the bike junk?.....definitely not. To me, it's in way better than average condition, especially when you remember it's 33 years old. This bike has a clean Kentucky title with no negatives and the title shows the mileage to be accurate (not unknown etc). The front tire is a 3.25-19" Continental & all though the tread is good, it does show some early stages of cracking The rear tire is a newer Dunlop K181, 130-90/17" tire & is in real good condition It has a 100% original exhaust, complete with OEM mufflers in VERY good condition--that alone is hard to find Seat cover has been replaced, although the owner/installer could have done a better job with the installation Front disk is the original but has been drilled (for cooler braking temperatures) The carburetors have been professionally cleaned and synchronized The oil & filter has just been changed A brand new battery was just installed The man I got it from said the brakes have been taken apart, cleaned and reconditioned. They seem to work just fine. The bike starts easily, doesn't smoke and runs and shifts just fine. All four turn signals light but don't flash & the horn isn't working. About the only other note worth mentioning is when I got the bike home, I noticed gas came out of one of the fuel over flow tubes.
