Vehicle Detail

This is a very complete, solid 1967 Camaro in need of restoration. The car appears to be an original 67 RS V-8 4 speed car. It also looks like most all of the panels are original (or at least, GM)- although an early repaint looks evident (Madeina Maroon- Original Color), so I can't be sure. Even though it has been sitting for several years, the car runs and drives. I use a spare battery to start it every month, but the brakes need complete replacement as it is now almost unable to stop (drums on all 4), so I have stayed off the pavement lately. Car is a manual steering, manual brakes, manual windows/door locks, standard black interior, Rally Sport, heated, 4 speed V-8 Coupe. Mileage as listed, but I can't be sure, as I've only owned it for a few years. Trim Code as follows: 06E E 760-Z N-N 21C-3L. Engine Casting 3138180, and the stamp is T03I8HCR. As you can see form the pictures, the car is presentable. In fact, it cleans up very well for a car that hasn’t seen the highway in years (just around the neighborhood). The seats shown were sent out for new foam and upholstery last year and were stolen from the shop I left them at… So, the front and rear seats and center console in the pictures are NOT included. The carpet looks like NEW replacement, but will need a vacuum. All glass is nice, except for the windshield (fogged). Motor has a little dress-up on it (valve covers/air cleaner, cheap headers). The driver’s side lower rear outer quarter has some cancer, and will need attention. Although, until the car is media blasted, I can’t say for sure where else will. I have included some pictures of the floor with the carpet pulled up so you can see how nice they are. The motor runs strong after a minute of idle. Exhaust is there, but rotten and loud. Car shifts well and steers fair, but won’t stop much at all. (The mechanics of the whole car will need to be addressed before being driven anywhere). I have owned over 20 of the early Camaros. This is one of the 3 best originals that I have ever found (and I’m picky). I have only saved three for my own projects in the past and this is my last one. I was planning on building this one for my wife, but finances have changed to finish other projects. These cars are VERY hard to find that have not been hacked, rusted away, or already poorly restored. I purchased the car sight/unseen and was VERY happy when it arrived. If you are looking for a strong solid project start – this IS the car. I have a free and CLEAR Georgia title for the car in MY name ON SITE. Car comes as shown (minus the stolen seats /console and my battery). You will have to tow this car home. I will offer to start the car with my spare battery to get up a trailer/carrier, but I will keep the battery from there. I work out of town, but will be available, and welcome to show the car on June 24th, 25th or 26th by prior appointment ONLY. The car is just 10 minutes North of Jackson Mississippi off I-55. I have tried to describe this item to the best of my knowledge, and full honest disclosure. I will answer any questions that I can, help anyway possible. Please ask all questions/inquiries LONG before the auction ends. Please do your own research for peace of mind. Bidders: Understand that if you want to come look at the car, I am offering for you to look before you bid, however, if you bid, you are bidding to PURCHASE the car from auction- not to win the auction for kicking the tires or a "test drive" (unless you want a very expensive test drive). The car is sold AS-IS and WHERE-IS. You will have to arrange your own transportation. A $500.00 (non-refundable) deposit is due -as received- within 48 hours of auction end by Paypal, Money Order, or Certified Check. The balance of the total is due (in Cash or CLEARED Certified Check) within 5 days of auction end. I say “CLEARED Certified Check” as to make certain that it will have to clear through the bank before the car goes anywhere. Also, please don't waste my time with foreign bank wire transfers, as they are not accepted. I can also overnight you the signed title for your peace of mind before you pick up the car, but the check must clear before the car or title moves. I can also store the car at no charge until July 16th. You are welcome to pick up the car anytime until then, but will need to schedule it as I work out of town and only home most weekends. Car is stored in an enclosed mini storage unit, and it is hard to get an 18 wheeler inside the gate, so plan accordingly.
