Vehicle Detail

Ladies and Gentlemen—Mopar Lovers—LOOK!! First time offered on Ebay—What an Opportunity to own a One-of-a-Kind Chrysler with a great history at an incredible price Up for auction is a rare and beautiful 1979 Chrysler Cordoba 2 door specialty hardtop. I acquired this car from the original owner who decided to quit driving. It's always been garaged and maintained to the highest standards. It’s not very often that I use the word MINT when it comes to cars but there’s no other way to describe this vehicle. It’s mint in just about every area and a true time warp. This is probably one of the first ’79 Cordoba’s to hit the street with a build date of Sept. 1978. It was special ordered from Chrysler in late 1978. Due to its pristine condition and documentation (including the original window sticker), I believe the low mileage of 6,847 to be correct. In addition to standard features such as power steering and power brakes, the following are some of the options with sales codes: · SS22—Chrysler Cordoba 2 DR. Specialty H.T. · ST1—Light Cashmere · H413—Bench Seat w/center Arm Rest-Vinyl · D34—Torqueflite Transmission · E44—318 C.I.D. Engine-8 Cylinder-2 bbl. · G01—Rear Window Defroster-Electric · G11—Tinted Glass-All Windows · H51—Air Conditioning · K20—Tape Stripe-Deck Lid · K30—Tape Stripe—Body Side · K5Y—Vinyl Body Side Moulding · R21—AM/FM Radio · V3Y—Landau Vinyl Roof-Cream · W13—Wheel Covers—Premier · U34—Tires—FR78x15—WSW—Glass Belt Radial Photos cannot capture the true beauty of this timeless classic. When was the last time you saw one of these at a car show, on the road or better yet anywhere? Looking along the contour lines of the car, it appears to have no dings, scratches or dents. There is no evidence of any accident damage and it has the original paint. There are no leaks and the engine does not smoke or burn any oil. No car is perfect and I don't claim this one to be. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. In my opinion, this is a great car for the road and show. It has a clear title. Please come see and drive it for yourself. NO DISAPPOINTMENTS! If you’ve been waiting for a one-of-a-kind Chrysler to come along then don’t let this one get away; avoid disappointment and future regret. NOTE: You might want to take it to the upcoming Carlisle Chrysler Nationals (July 8-10, 2011) http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/chrysler-nationals/ This is a “Low Reserve” auction. Check my Ebay history; I've strived to maintain a 100% positive feedback rating over the years. I’m not an expert on the value or condition of these vehicles, and therefore, my opinion of a vehicle may not be the same as yours. I suggest serious bidders come examine this Chrysler, or have someone come and inspect it to make sure you know what you are bidding on before you bid. Feel free to request as many other photos as needed. I’m not a dealer, this is just a hobby, so feel free to ask any questions and any inspection is always welcome. It’s a good idea to get an estimate of the transport costs ahead of time and that can be obtained from www.autotransport.com (key in Zip Code 20659 for the starting point). Since this car is in mint condition, I recommend an enclosed trailer. Due to some recent scams involving some shady transporters, I will make sure that the transporter you select is the same company (person) who physically picks up the car. Also, I will take and send you photos of the transport rig, its license plate/driver and the car being loaded, including its securement and placement on or within the rig for peace of mind. NOBODY DOES ALL THAT!! Should you have any questions, feel free to call me at (301-943-1602) or send me an email with your name and phone number. VEHICLE TERMS: The car is SOLD AS-IS with no guarantee/warranty either expressed or implied. Successful bidder pays $1000 down payment (PayPal is preferred) for the vehicle within 48 hours of bid close and should make arrangements to pick up the car within 2 weeks of auction close. Seller releases all responsibility for the car upon receipt of payment from bidder. Buyer will assume all responsibility for said vehicle, including but not limited to liability. The seller has the right to end the auction early. On Jun-18-11 at 06:38:59 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: I've received numerous emails asking about a "Buy It Now" price. You can call me at 301-943-1602 and we can discuss. As for the build sheet, I am certain that the build sheet is still under the rear seat. There is a photo of the original window sticker included within the listing. I forgot to mention that a custom car cover comes with the car. Also, on some of the moldings the original factory wrapings are still on the car. All of the original factory stickers such as on the engine, door jams etc. are there. All of the lights including the side coach lights up along the vinyl top work perfectly. All of the chrome and stainless are pristine. GOOD LUCK IN BIDDING! On Jun-20-11 at 13:55:59 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: This past weekend I had the car inspected by an ASE mechanic. He indicated that all of the working components are like new. He even used a video inspection scope (Snap-On) to look inside the valve covers and other areas of the block. There is no carbon build-up in the engine whatsoever. After looking at the condition of the brake pedal pad, the dimmer switch on the floor, the interior lights, the brake lights, the many engine stickers and the original floor mat, he is confident that this Cordoba is a very low mileage original car. There is no rust anywhere. He stated: "This is a new classic car". Good Luck to Everyone!! On Jun-22-11 at 12:31:09 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: I just received a factory brochure called, "1979 Chrysler Cordoba, The Contemporary Classic." On the front cover of that brochure, you will find a car that looks exactly like this one. Who knows, since this car was built in Sept. 1978, it may have been the one chosen for the front cover. Since this car has the Landau roof, the two tone colors are listed as Linen Cream/Light Cashmere. Check out the brochure, there's one on Ebay. On Jun-26-11 at 06:34:54 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: This car has been verified to have 6,847 original miles. I've been asked to take it to the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, Pa. July 8-11, 2011. According to Chrysler, this may be the lowest mileage Cordoba on the planet. Some lucky bidder will get a super nice car. Best of Luck to All!On Jun-26-11 at 11:10:32 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: Per your requests, the Ebay Item Number for the '79 Cordoba Sales Brochure with this car on the front page is 160235258421.
