The Chino Valley Fire District is offering a 1972 Ford F-250 4x4 Truck. This truck has 14,198.6 miles on it. In 2003 we updated the truck including Engine mods, Aluminum Intake, Four Barrel Carb, Cam, Electronic Ignition, Headers and Magna flow Exhaust. New Custom Paint. New Wheels and Tires. All Glass was replaced with New Tented Glass. New Utility Bed coated with bed liner. The original bed was removed in 1972 for a utility box. The Fuel Tank was removed from the cab and a new one installed between the frame rails. The Cab Floor, behind the seat and the door kick panels were coated with bed liner. This truck has Manual Steering and Brakes with a Four Speed Manual Transmission. The Transfer Case has High and Low range with locking Front Hubs. Where the radio goes in the dash, the ears were folded in, not cut off, to fit a siren box. There are 3 small rectangle cutouts in the dash for emergency light switches. The horn button is missing. The battery cutoff switch was placed in an existing hole. The Transmission has an oil leak and there is a small dent in the passenger door just below the mirror bracket. This truck has been in the fire department and worked on by firefighters for over 10 years. Used as a utility truck to resupply air to SCBA and public education demonstrations.
