Up for sale is my 82 Delorean. I have owned this car for 5 years now. I'm selling because I have had my fun with it and now want money to fund a new project. I have all receipts to show what I have put into the car. There are only 2 problems I have with this car. One is the rear louver broke on the right side where the strut attaches. That just happend 2 months ago. The other thing is the A/C doesn't work. When I got the car it was not working, and when I tore the top of the motor apart to change the cooling hoses and waterpump, I never reinstalled the compressor or the pulleys. I have all the brackets, pulleys, bolts and compressor to put back on. I left them off because it made the engine compartment look cleaner. But there isn't any other problems with this car. The right side window motor was replaced before I bought the car. The drivers side is the original, but still works like it should. The tires are all good and are fairly new. But here is a list of things done in the past 5 years. Both right and left tie rod ends have been replaced. All four shocks have been replaced. Steering rack boots have been replaced. Door struts have been replaced. Plugs, wires, cap and belt have been replaced. Tail ligt circuit boards have been replaced with the upgraded ones from PJ Grady. All cooling hoses and clamps have been replaced. The radiator, waterpump, stainless overflow bottle are all new. The 2 cooling hoses behind the waterpump were replaced with new, silicone hoses. Everything came from PJ Grady. I installed the 140mph speedo from DMCH. Has the relay update kit installed. I did this when the fuse box started to melt. So all relays, fuses, and the fuse box are new. From DMCH Everything in the fuel tank: Pump, rubber boot, rubber pickup line and the rubber lines coming off the pump have all been replaced with PJ Grady parts. The sending unit is also new and is the Tankzilla unit. The fuel filter and all the rubber fuel lines in the engine compartment have been replaced with steel braided lines from Special T Auto. The stainless air breather is also from Special T Auto. The seat covers are new ones from DMCH. So are the window switches and all the side marker light gaskets. The slave cylinder and master cylinder for the hydraulic clutch system have been replaced, along with a steel braided clutch line. Thats from DMCH The alternator is new from Special T Auto. I have installed the Stage 1 performance upgrade from DMCH. That includes the headers, exhaust, ignition coil and powercore ignitor. The car idles great, it runs great. I really have no issues with the car NOW. I had a couple when I first got it, but have worked them out. The motor oil.....antifreeze....clutch fluid....brake fluid has all been replaced this year. The manual tranny fluid was replaced 2 years ago. There are no dents in the stainless panels. The struts for the front trunk are starting to get weak. The frame is pretty clean. There are no cracks on the dashboard. And also, when I took the pics, the front hood was not latched. Thats why it appears not to line up with the fenders.
