For auction is a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. This is a "roller" and has no engine or transmission. It was a 318 floor shift car and retains the V-8 K frame. Car requires the following: Rear floor pans, lower quarter panels (will include OEM LH lower as pictured for repair to that side), trunk extensions, lower patch panels for front fenders (reproductions available), and RH rocker panel patching. Inner fender repairs are needed at the left side upper A-arm where there is some rust. Car is missing the grille assemblies and lower rear window molding but all other trim is there. Car comes with hood pictured but, has no hinges. The hood includes factory, corner mounted indicator lights (80% did not get this option) and the correct hood inserts for that year. Inserts are in fair shape and are usable as cores for replating. The glass is good with the exception of the windshield which is available aftermarket and the only reproduction glass offered for this model. The dashboard is complete including standard instrumentation. The radio bezel has been altered as is typical in these cars. The steering wheel is missing but the column is intact. Car is equipped with larger 10" drum brakes as was usual for the V-8 equipped models. The car will need to be towed from its current location near Monroe, Georgia. This is a pretty straight car overall and would either restore to original or make a very light race car at less than 3000 lbs. with engine and transmission. The car is being re-listed and the reserve has been lowered..... Car will be sold as is and with a Bill-of -sale only. A title can be obtained through Broadway Title in Alabama (see internet site) for around $150.00. If sold, a`$250.00 deposit is required through pay pal at auction end. The balance is required within seven days and may be a USPS money order or cash at time of pickup. Buyer is responsible for picking up, towing or other shipping arrangements.
