2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDI GLS Diesel. 139k..This is a very nice car. It has cloth seats, alloy wheels, sunroof, power windows, automatic transmission, cold a/c... The car does not smoke or have any indicator lights on. The car has no known prior bodywork. When I purchased this car I was told it needed a new fuel filter. I purchased a new filter, but I have never installed it. I'm no mechanic. I drove the car for 3 days without noticing anything abnormal. Finally, I noticed that every once in a while the car will act like it shutters or something? It only does it for just a second and then it clears right out. Like I said I have NO idea what it is, but a diesel mechanic told me that it was more than likely the fuel filter. I took a picture of the OEM fuel filter I purchased from VW.
