Vehicle Detail
---- NO RESERVE! ---- Before I start - this car sounds AWESOME! Exhaust sounds great, very loud, muscle sound!!! This is a partially restored 1978 camaro z28. I have much more pictures and specs available. I purchased this car with the plan of having it finished restored, but I recently aquired a full time job in Philly and am purchasing a house shortly. I have no time to maintain this car, no garage etc. Camaros were not made for the city! The owner before me started the restoration. He redid the body, repainted it, did engine work, some interior work, newer wheels etc. The car runs great, has newer paint, new headliner, nice crager s/s wheels, newer exhaust, and some engine work. (+) Good body (only body work needed is the trunk. The trunk is not aligned correctly and causes water to get in the trunk) (+) Low miles (195,000 total) but engine reworked within last 5,000 miles. (+) Nice paint job - has some defects but overall very nice. Gray with black stripes (+) New headliner (+) Newer battery (+) Recenlty had work done to it: Center Link, Idler Arm, Rear Brake Drums, Rear Brake Shoes, Rear Axle Seals, Rear Wheel stud, rear diff. cover gasket, diff fluet. (-) Trunk needs re-aligned (-) Cracked windshield (-) Needs finished restoring (no horn, windhsield wipers not hooked up, not all lights work (i.e. reverse, one brakelight), heat not hooked up) (-) Front two seats are torn and in not that great condition - back seat is okay (-) Needs new tires In short - this is a great car with over $10,000 invested in engine, body, paint, etc. This car has all top end products/materials including Edelbrock and suede headliner! This car was built for a track/crusiing car, not everyday car. However it would not take that much effort to reconnect the horn, heat, wipers etc. This car runs great - I drove it here last year from Ohio (over 550 miles). Now I use it as a weekend car only. Only rust visible is around rear windshield, and is very minor. ****A couple things to note: Ohio Title NO! You are not taking my tags with the car. If purchase you need to make a $250 deposit within 48 hours. Rest is paid in Cash or paypal. Car to be picked up within 7 days (one week), no exceptions. Please do not spam, no tire kickers, no low ball offers. If this car does not sell I may keep it. I do not need the money I am selling because of the time and effort ot maintain a car, especially a classic muscle car, in the city. NO test drives. If you want have your mechanic come down with you - inspect it - sit in it - I can start it up. If really interested I may be able to drive you down the road so you can get the feel. You are NOT driving the car yourself! I am selling this vehicle localy and on several other websites. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. There is no warranty or guarentees with this car. Thank you, Daniel
