1984 Honda Shadow

This is a Honda Shadow, VT700. It is a 1984 and it is in nice running condition with low original miles (6690). I had this for the season last year as the primary bike to ride on. Finally I got it out of winter storage and I am riding it again, so it will have a few more miles. It has new tires and a new battery; the oil and filter have been changed and the air filter, too. Mechanically everything is great as far as I can tell and it is ready to ride. It is very comfortable as a touring bike, but still nimble enough for town. I have a clean NY title in my name. Cosmetically, it is not bad for a 25 year old bike, but it has blemishes. It was probably left outside for a while. The aluminum rims have stains, the handle bar has some rust spots and there are a few bolts and nuts which show rust. The headers (front pipes) are rusty, not so much the mufflers, they look good. Everything is still solid and not rusted through at all. All the chrome parts (except headers and some brackets) look still amazingly good. The tank is clean inside and has no dents, only a few minor scratches and dings, also the frame. Paint is black and shiny. Just please don't expect a show bike - this is some 25 years old! The only thing which does NOT work is the fuel gauge. I don't know what's wrong, but I suspect it is the fuel sensor. I found it is not hooked up. It was not a big deal for me; the bike has a reserve switch in case you run out of gas. Please ask any questions or come and look at the bike in person. Thanks and good luck!
