For sale is this one of a kind numbers matching 1961 Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale. This stunning example of the progressively designed and entirely unique SS is absolutely gorgeous and factory correct in its beautiful and extensive restoration. You would be hard-pressed to find a more complete and well running Sprint Speciale for your Italian supercar collection. Finished in its factory Rosso Red paint over a black leather interior with red piping, the body exhibits astonishing depth and luster. All gaps fit as they should and the car is straight and free of rust. The paint shows only the fewest and most insignificant of blemishes that our photographs would not be able to highlight, none of which detract from the cars integrity and overall condition. The bright work on the Alfa is gorgeous and complements the cars Rosso finish beautifully. The interior is equally as spectacular. The correct factory leather seats are in excellent shape. The dash and door panels are wonderful. The carpets and headliner are excellent as well. It is truly a special SS survivor. The mechanicals are superb. The car always fires when cold and maintains a very steady idle. There is ample power and excellent compression throughout each cylinder. The transmission pulls strongly through each gear without grinding or hesitation. This was a car designed to be as aerodynamic as possible and it shows in its design and overall mechanical performance with an impressive top speed at over 125 mph.
