This is a 1980 Volkswagon Vanagon / Kombi with a westfallia popup conversion. It has a small propane burner, a sink, a water holding tank with pump, an icebox, a foldaway table, a stereo with cd player, many drawers and storage compartments. The top pops up and sleeps two on top, and the seats fold down and it sleeps one or two on the bottom. The van is in good shape for being 31 years old, there is some rust starting around the windows, and bottom of the doors, but no major rust or dents. Somebody added a Subaru water cooled motor, and also added a front heater. The tires, brakes, tuneup, heater core, exhaust system, and gas tank, were all replaced within the last 4 years, the battery and oil were changed a year ago. It has only been driven about 1000 miles a year for the last 10 years, the odometer shows 03129, but has not worked for several years, the speedometer, and all the other gauges and lights do work. The only other problem that i know of is that when you back up you have to hold the gear shift lever in reverse or it wants to pop out of gear, it has been like that for years, and all four foward gears work fine, somebody told me that the gear shift linkage may just need to be adjusted, not really sure tho.
