For sale is one 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S 2-door coupe restoration project car. This vehicle is listed with no engine or transmission. The main body is very good condition,very straight. There is rust in the rear fenders, as is common with these cars. The front fenders are not original and have some bondo. The bumpers are dinged and dented and need to be straightened or replaced. The grill is cracked. The windows look great and there are no cracks. The front split bench seat was reupholstered at some point, not perfect but in very workable condition. The rest of the interior is original. The old carpet was removed so interior could be repainted but never got that far. The body was removed from the frame and the frame was sandblasted and painted. Over $2000 in new suspension, braking and steering components were installed.(see related photos) It has new springs and shocks front and rear. New A-arm ball joints, all new tie rod ends and all associated bushings. It has a front disc brake conversion kit from Stainless Steel Braking Corp and new rear rotors, brake cylinders and brakes. It has new rear sway bar kit with new trailing arm bushings along with new body mount bushings. Suspension bushings are polygraphite purchased from Performance Suspension Technology, I have all reciepts. Since the engine and tranny were never installed, final adjustments haven't been made to suspension and steering and everything should be checked by a qualified mechanic. This vehicle came from the factory with a 350 and a Muncie M20 4-speed with Hurst shifter. I bought the car 12 years ago and I believe I am the 3rd owner. All work that has been done to the car has been in the last 3 years. The vehicle is currently at a storage lot.
