This 2001 Alero is a great starter car for your high school or college student. My daughter has driven this one while in college. It is in good condition. It recently had a small water leak, we thought it was the intake gasket, we had it replaced. But, it turns out is was the water pump, so we had a new one installed. So now it has new intake gaskets and new water pump. No more leaks. The exterior is nice, one small dimple in passenger rear door, and some small scuffs on the front bumper cover. Interior is nice, carpet has some spots, but I believe they would clean out with a good detailing. Overall it is a decent car that is mechanically sound. It does not use oil or smoke, no unusual noises in engine. Transmission is strong. I have a clear title. Also, there is a local shipper who I have used who gives pretty good rates for shipping.
