Vehicle Detail

-351 CID Windsor 5.8L V8 engine - 4 Speed Automatic transmission with overdrive, that shifts perfectly and smoothly. No Slippage or knocking. - Borg Warner T-Case - Hurst Shifter boot with polished aluminum trim - Decommissioned Vietnam era hand grenade that I welded to the top of the T-Case shifter arm. Very nice - 1/8 inch diamond plate step, driver and passenger. Those stock plastic ones are crap, they always fade and scratch so i made my own. -Danatrac 60 heavy duty front axle with 3.73 differentials. -New master pulley and tensioner, and all new belts -Rancho front steering stabilizer -Heavy duty Bilstein shock absorbers, 5,000 miles on them -Set of Super Spring leafs added in rear, another 500lbs of weight capacity. -Three Aluminum TracVan sliding racks. No rust or corrosion -New aluminum black out rims with chrome accents -New Flow Master Tailpipe to give it a nice rumble -Three black aluminum hoop steps to get in and out -Class IV hidden hitch with proper wiring harness -Reupholstered front seats using heavy duty -20 vinyl so it wont crack like all the others -New body mount bolts and hardware, all Grade 8 hardware used. -Air conditioning blows ice cold front and rear -Entire floor of van is rhino lined -New Disc Brake pads, only 8 miles on them -Rides on BF Goodrich A/T 245/75/r16 with 40% left on them These were the tires that came with the van. The tread was good and i did not see the point of throwing them away just to get a bigger tire. I only have used this vans capabilities in the snow. I have never once took it out on the beach or on any kind of mud trails. Only highway miles and some local driving for me. Thats why you wont see oversized tires and winches on my van. I simply did'nt need them. So having said that you'll be rest assured to know this truck was not abused at all. The tranny's in great condition because of the conservative tires and easy flat highway miles. And the differentials in the front and rear are in pristine condition. I purchased the van in October of 2008, and have put just under 10,000 miles on it. The van was delivered to an airport in Virginia, where it was used as a fire chiefs mobile command office. It was garage kept and went through a thorough inspection at the start of every shift. Hence the hours meter. I ripped out the office and rubber flooring. The floor and sheet metal were in fantastic shape. The only rust was were the body mount bolts were. So instead of covering it up. I cut out the old mounts, fabricated new ones, and welded it all back together with extra gussets for stronger smoother ride. I then rhinolined the entire floor of the truck. I did'nt want any exposed sheet metal, I figured that was a good base and i could do carpeting on top. I never picked up rear seats because i never needed them. But thats whats great about this van, the possibilities are endless. The windows make it great for passengers then in five minutes you can take the seats out and have a great cargo van. The choice is yours, this van is at the point where you can add accessories and customize it to your needs. i.e. winches, bumpers, sound systems, t.v.'s, aggressive tires. Because you wont have to spend a dime as far as the mechanics go. This vans engine, tranny, t-case shift and work in perfect harmony. The front and rear drive shafts are perfect. The diff's are lubed and ready to go. The front wheel axle shafts are straight and true. The Front U-Joints are in fantastic shape. Front Knuckle Kingpins are greased and have no seal cracks. I went on a few long trips, no problems. In my opinion fords 460 engine is a gas hog, but the 351 is just the right amount of power and still gets great gas mileage( 16-18 MPG). Email me with any questions. We moved and i can no longer have a place to store it. Thanks for looking
