It was well maintinaed and garaged. We bought this car about a year ago when it had 33,422 miles on it. At that time, we did a thorough professional inspection of the entire car and had the following work done: oil changed twice, transmission serviced, brakes adjusted and pads replaced, and cruise control updated by the Planet Ford dealer. The odometer now reads 39,762 miles. This top of the line Lincoln luxury sedan is absolutely close to new. The very pretty red (with a hint of purple) metallic paint shines like new. You will be hard pressed to find a ding or a scratch. The red leather seats are like new. There are no cuts, tears, stains, or holes anywhere on the seats, carpet, dash, headliner or door panels. With only 39,762 accident free miles, it is virtually in showroom condition. The 4.6 V8 engine is the best engine Ford makes. It is very reliable, durable, and fuel efficient (25 mpg on regular). It has been garaged and no one smoked in it. It has been a Texas car its entire life with no rust issues whatsoever. This Signature series comes fully loaded with all the modern conveniences – automatic climate control, power seats with two separate memory adjustments, power windows, antennae, trunk pull down, etc. There are a few minor apologies – the radio fades in and out and the rear right passenger window sticks a little. All four Michelin tires are in excellent condition with about 80% tread remaining. It has a full size spare in the trunk and it is also in excellent condition. This Lincoln Town Car is smooth, quiet and does not pull left or right. The engine and transmission run like new. At only 39k miles, it is not even broken in. This is the reason why virtually all limousine companies use the Lincoln Towncar with the 4.6 V8 engine. They last forever.
