1979 1/2 FORD RANCHERO BROUGHAM..... this truck is a true unrestored survivor....2 owners from new when i purchased....very rare half year production truck....of which the BROUGHAM model was and is the fewest production number.....of a total production run of 25,000 or so...over half that number were gts...about 12,000 +....making the gt not rare or hard to find...although desirable....while the limited number of BROUGHAMS....which included most of the gt options but many more options...limited to the top model BROUGHAMS only.....very hard to find ,especially as nice as this true SURVIVOR....also this was fords last year for a real steel full frame.... 1980 brought all unibody construction....no real frame vehicles,unless you purchased a truck...... .this truck was purchased from an 89 year old granny...true story... included in sale is bill of sale from when she purchased from original owner in 1993... she owned for 18 years in southern oregon...she sold car as she failed her driving test and moved to assisted living.....car has always been a southern oregon...hi-desert car..so...no rust ever...period.....grants pass,oregon...to be specific....................102,700 original actual miles...runs and drives as new...perfect to me....just drove on a couple trips for 500 miles with no problems...... considering this truck has been well-maintained but never restored...its condition blows people away...as most think it has been restored.....i am sure its sides have been painted once..light tan color appears as original paint....paint is in nice shape...good gloss,shine...but on close inspection has had numerous touch-ups.....trim is all very nice and shiney...with some minor blemishes....bumper chrome is weak in places....interior is incredibly nice....again almost most perfect....no rips,tears or stains....front carpet has been replaced...rear is original.....special floor mats with RANCHERO....embroidered into them....dash and dash pad very nice.....under the hood is very clean....never messed with or even detailed...just clean...also has chrome valve covers......this truck has just had over 3,000 dollars spent on it....this includes a very high detail inside and out....trim cleaned...paint buffed,polished,waxed.....new factory headliner because of seam splits do to old threads....new starter,new battery,new alternator....new oil and filter..new air filter.....new fuel filter,new belts, 225x70x14 DUNLOP rover touring lt radial tires,as new........new spark plugs,new plug wires..new coil...new distributor cap..new rotor...new headlight switch....new pcv valve....new oil breather,chrome....new wiper blades.....recent brakes ,shocks and dual exhaust by previous owner...all in excellent shape....front end and suspension very good.....she rides very quiet and smooth.....interior has excellent armrests...door panels and carpet on panels as new....has black steering wheel cover...all glass is excellent..... package area under bed,behind seat,still has original sound deadner material and rubber mat....current oregon tags....clean and clear oregon title......good spare and original jack installed behind passenger seat where factory put it......options ....outside include factory 2-tone paint....bright exterior complete side,roof moulding package,body stripe ,white.....full wheel covers...front bumper guards...rear bumper guards...dual sport mirrors...both remote operated.....dual exhaust with stainless v-8 exhaust tips....locking hard bed cover...locking gas cap...chrome door edge guards....and last...beautiful,cool fender skirts....easily removeable...takes 5 minutes....options...interior....brougham interior includes extra sound deadner and insulation which creates a really quiet interior with windows up....deluxe split 60-40 bench -.bucket seats with dual armrests....deluxe door panels with speakers and carpet on bottom....am-fm-stereo...woodgrain dash with tachometer and full gauge package...trip odometer....padded dash ....all very,very nice ......other major options include 351 cleveland v-8....automatic trans...9 inch rearend....power steering...power disc brakes....air conditioning....tilt wheel...which is very tight...not loose or worn out....cruise control...which works fine....long description but truck deserves a honest,complete description.....no surprises here.....bid...buy ...enjoy....drive home to anywhere...finally...every thing works as it should... items needing some tlc....a/c engages ,works...but not cold....needs a charge.....tachometer works but reads low on scale......fuel gauge works but i think reads low ?.....back-up lights need bulbs or maybe a switch.... you bid...you buy....buyer responsible for all shipping costs,arrangements....will assist loading.....no warranties expressed or implied....500.00 dollar deposit from paypal acceptable....balance due 7 days in cash on delivery or direct bank wire transfer....thanks.....questions ...email or call ...971-645-0601
