BMW E30 325iS SPORT COUPE BRILLIANTROT RED 5SPD BEAUTY! I'm selling this car for a friend who bought it recently but got overloaded with his other E30 projects (He's an E30 nut, but useless with computers so it falls to me to list it here). He got the car with a damaged drivers side door, and an oil leak. He had both issues fixed (door was replaced, rear main seal was replaced, no more oil leak!). He's not a car dealer, nor am I (I only sell parts). This is simply a passing on of a gorgeous E30 from one enthusiast to another (hopefully). It's the perfect combo of red on black, sport coupe, upgraded with a Bilstein sports and Ireland springs, Kenwood CD, Precision amp and period correct Bazooka sub with stock premium sound BMW speakers. Details:The original color is Brilliantrot. It got a full repaint a few years ago, and looks great. There are blemishes here and there on close inspection, but for a daily driver it's all you could want.The interior appears to be original, it's the stock black leather sport interior. I say "appears to be original" because the leather is so nice on the front seats that I had to question if they had been reupholstered. I've seen dozens of redone E30 sport seats though, and these match the factory seats so perfectly I have to believe they are original BMW leather. Really though, the leather is that nice. Not baby soft like a new leather couch, but soft like an E30 that was garaged for it's whole life. The drivetrain is in remarkably good condition for it's mileage. You'd never know it has 233k miles. The motor runs strong and quiet, trans shifts smoothly, I wouldn't hesitate to take it to an autocross or on a roadtrip. Full disclosure:I haven't spent a lot of time with the car. From what I have inspected, here are the main flaws I've noticed:-Drivers door that was replaced had some overspray on the black window frame edge (only visible with the door open). -The tires are almost ready for replacement. 15-25% tread remaining. Red E30 325iS's are on the rare side now, and the brilliant red on black is a combo to die for in my opinion.With a small amount of touch-up work on cosmetics, this car would be worth at least $k more.
