Body Condition: Body is in good condition, especially considering the year. There is a dent across the hood from it coming up after not being latched. There is also some rust damage inside the engine compartment above the front tire wells. Top was purchased within the last six months from BestTop, under a lifetime warranty. Warranty has not been sent in and could be sent in under purchasers name. Easy to remove and reinstall. Tires are all functional, including spare. Rear drivers side bumper needs to be reinstalled (just needs a couple of bolts and a way to compress the metal to the correct size). Engine Condition: Needs work. V8 and a 304 AMC motor. 3 speed, with a floor stick shift. Doesn't have any leaks. Starts right up though engine recently started making a new noise. Battery and spark plugs were recently replaced. Small squeal for a second after the engine is started. Gas tank was recently replaced, though it will not fill past half of a tank (tank size is 15 gallons). Steering is like any old jeep, a bit jerky. Engine is powerful and capable of getting up a lot of terrain. Speedometer and engine temp gauge do not work and need to be replaced. All lights and blinkers work. Has a CD player/radio but it has never worked. Personal History with Vehicle: Owned the Jeep for less than a year, don't have the time or money to work on it. No serious damage occured during that time frame. Repairs and work include: Full service oil chage, replace old gas tank (old one had a hole), install top, some work on electrical, replaced battery, replaced cylanoid, replaced spark plugs.
