Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a 1953 Chevy Club Coupe. These are very hard to find that have not been chopped, turned into a "Gasser" back in the day or crushed years ago. It is a rare one & a great opportunity to own one, you will very rarely see another. Clear Oklahoma Title in my name. Car is tagged & insured until the end of the year. It has a very strong running 1958 235 in it with 3 on the tree. It has had a few paint jobs over the years. The body appears to be in very good condition only a couple of very small dings. The only rust I have found that will require sheet metal are the front floorboards. It does need interior door panels, headliner, carpet. It has dual exhaust but not a split manifold. Also has rear air shocks. The trunk floor is in great shape. Interior fender wells look to be in great shape. I drive it around frequently on the weekends. Here is a list of what I have done since I have owned it the last 8 months. New Gas Tank New Fuel Pump New Battery New Plugs, Points & Rotor NOS Carter YF 2101s Carburetor, has Auto Choke much better upgrade from thr original Rochester carb. Rebuilt Master Cylinder Rebuilt All Wheel Cylinders (shoes are good) New Rubber Brake Lines New Steel Brake Lines (I replaced the two that came off the master cylinder because they were damaged removing them, I have the rest of the complete set of steel lines pre-bent in the box, all the rest were ok so I did not replace them yet) New Tapered Roller Wheel Bearings in front (much better upgrade from the original Ball Bearings) Rebuilt Radiator (hot tanked & pressure tested) Rebuilt Heater Core (hot tanked repaired & pressure tested) New Thermostat New Upper Radiator Hose Original Guide day/night rearview mirror that I replaced the clear glass & mirror It has the later style wheels on it currently. I also have a complete set of the original style wheels that have the clips for the original dog dish hubcaps and the hubcaps that can go with it. I am sure I'm forgetting something & will ad as I think of it. The small dent in the hood has mostly been dollied out. I do have all trim for it. The last picture was my plan for it. Original color was the Horizon Blue. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 918-408-8917 or email me if you want additional pictures of something in particular. My Feedback is 100%, bid with confidence. Thanks for looking & good luck, Bryan.
