Vehicle Detail
smileyasbra10 Store I love old Land Cruiser wagons, have 4 right now, they're slow, heavy, 5000+lb tanks, awesome off road, super reliable and run forever. Its not uncommon to see 400K+ miles out of these vehicles which is why they're used for 4x4 expeditions world wide. I've been informed by my wife that 14 vintage 4x4s are about 9 too many at our cabin so sadly I need to sell off some of my toys. I drove this FJ80 all winter, it's excellent in snow and ice, very stable and I fear no deer with this much steel wrapped around me. Always starts right up no matter how cold outside, runs, steers, tracks, stops great. Gauges all read as they should, great oil pressure, never any smoke or anything, engine runs like a big iron sewing machine. The interior is clean for its age, the body is excellent, straight and completely rust free, is very clean and dry under the hood. This car was adult owned before we got it, is a good old reliable iron pig, I would drive it 65 mph anywhere without concern. some good stuff: 4.0 liter EFI 6 cylinder, automatic transmission, leather, power everything, sunroof, 3rd row seating for 7. I removed the cats, installed a K&N air cleaner so it has very good power at this altitude for an early 90s cruiser. Has class III hitch, a 2" lift kit, almost brand new Big O XT radial mud tires on factory alloy wheels, roof rack and a full wrap around Manik grill guard. This truck has the center differential lock which works well, it does not have factory lockers. 4 Door, Off Road Package, 4 Wheel Drive, All Wheel Drive, Automatic w/overdrive Transmission, Alloy Wheels, Lift Kit, Luggage Rack, New Tires, Rear Wiper, Splash guards, Towing Package, 3rd Row Seat, Air Conditioning, Bucket Seats, Center Console, Cruise Control, Folding Rear Seat, Leather Seats, Power Door Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Rear Defrost, Removable Third Row, Tilt Steering, Tinted Windows, AM/FM Radio, Stereo/Tape, Antilock Brakes, Traction Control The not so good stuff: Though in great shape, this is a 191K mile 20 year old 4x4 Colorado vehicle and has it's share of too be expected issues, cosmetic flaws, chips, scratches, etc. I have a nice set of gray seat covers for the front but left them off for photos so you can see the condition of the seat bottoms(see picture) The body is super straight with one very small door ding on the drivers door(see picture) There are 2 small chips in the glass at the base of the windshield(see picture) There are a couple small cracks in the dash and a speaker cover is missing on the drivers door(see picture) There is a gob of glue on the dash above the stereo, is pretty tough stuff and I have never tried to remove it. The cruise control doesn't always work, common for old Toyotas. There is a driveline "clunk" when you let off the gas at speed. If you know high mile FJ62s and FJ80s, some have "the clunk" when you let off the torque, shift into gear etc, it's a common old land cruiser issue as the AWD drivetrain develops some slop over the years, not a big deal to me but it needs to be mentioned and at some point will need to be addressed. Please email or call with questions and Ill answer them as honestly as possible. bozwell13@hotmail.com cell 602 435 2110 Jim
