Here we have my 1989 Jeep Wrangler, this is the straight six 4.2l motor with the later 5 speed AX15 transmission and is in stock condition with the exception of the later transmission. I bought this Jeep last year for the winter months and it proved very capable. The Jeep comes with the hard top and full doors as in the pictures but is also great fun in the summer with the doors and roof removed, I have been running it like this for the past few weeks. Listed below are various points about the Jeep;4 Wheel drive works perfectly,Motor has plenty of power and good oil pressure but maybe could do with a tune up,All gauges work, the gas gauge does fluctuate while driving and the amp gauge does sometimes under-read but a tap on the gauge fixes it,Has the larger plastic gas tank,The driver seat is ripped as can be seen in the pictures,There is no rear passenger carpet,Tires are 235x75x15 on original Jeep steel rims,Doors are solid and windows wind up and down properly,Has original stereo,The Drivers side fender and hood have been hand painted with an aerosol. Fender looks Ok but the hood is streaky, still it looks better than when i got the Jeep as the paint on the hood had worn through to the primer.Current PA inspection,Current mileage is a few hundred miles under 110,000 but I have listed as this as I am still using the Jeep and will be adding to the current mileage. All in this is a pretty basic Jeep that could be a clean platform to modify or used as is. Collection only for this item.On Jun-04-11 at 15:49:27 PDT, seller added the following information:Just so everyone has the same information, people have been asking about the paintwork on the Jeep. The jeep is 22 years old and so is the majority of the paint, there are some dings and dents as you would expect from a vehicle of this age, nothing serious with the worst being the small dents that can be seen in the pictures of the passenger side rear corner where the tire stop used to be and at the lower edge of the same corner. There is paint chipping around the door hinges probably from removing and re-fitting the doors. There is obviously a few scratches and chips to the fender flares as these are painted to match the body and can get rubbed against things. The hard top has had the driver side window re-siliconed by a previous owner, it is not that pretty a job on the inside but is water tight and has been fine in the time that I have had it. It could be trimmed up a bit or re-done a bit better. Again it is a 22 year old Jeep and Jeeps are used on and off road and I used it through all the snow we had last winter. Hopefully this will clarify that the exterior paintwork is not in showroom condition. Thanks, John
