The car was to pull a airstream trailer that was converted into a movie theatre around to film festivals. I have attached a picture of the rig. I am the second owner. This car was owned by a contractor in VA. This car was a reward he gave himself when he retired. I bought the car from his son after he passed away. The car was garaged up until I bought it. After I bought she spent one winter outside in NY but since then she has been barn kept in beautiful sunny california. Still has NY plates and Title. The car was trucked out to LA with the trailer in 2002. Since then she has been stored in Palm Dale. She was barn/car port kept but there was still sun exposure. The good news is the car has a big 460 4V and runs pretty well for as little TLC as has been given to her. The car looks good and drives well. I will now list the bad. I want there to be full disclosure I don't want anyone bidding to be surprised by anything. This is not the original paint. This car was painted gold and looks like a color original offered by Ford. It is not. The original color was dark green like the top and interior. Dash pad very cracked. Back seats sun damaged and opened up. Passanger door only opens from inside. Drivers side windows do not go up and down but motors still run. Heat works but not sure about AC so I will say it doesn't work. Car has shimmer at diffrent speeds. I am almost positive this is from flat spots in the tires but not sure. Car did not have shimmer when I parked it and it comes out of storage with shimmer so I feel it must be the tires. Does not have the original carb. Has a Holly carb in it now. Other than the carb and the paint the car is all original. The body does have some scratches. the crome is pitted in places. Turn signal does not work. I listed every thing I can think of that is wrong with the car. I am not trying to talk you out of bidding I just want there to be full disclosure. I want people to bid with confidence and know what they are going to get. I have had a lot of fun with this car. People come up and talk to me about it almost ever time I stop. I have buried the neddle in this car, yes 120+, she will do it just don't try and turn. Car has an awesom tow hitch and electric brake. Car will pull just about anything and still do 70 mph.
