1970 Ford Econoline Club Wagon Chateau 302cu in SBF with C-4 transmission. Trans was just rebuilt last week and has a 12/mo warranty from workmanship and defects. Great running van that needs nothing. I purchased this from a family friend who's dad was the original owner. They stopped driving it when the tranny went out and it sat for about 10 years. I changed all the fluids and bled the brakes and have been driving it since. The van rides like brand new. There is no play in the steering and the chassis feels incredibly solid for a van of this age. I would not hesitate driving this thing anywhere if required. The a/c is in great working shape and blows cold. The starter, battery and cables are all new because I didn't want to get stranded due to one of them failing and the starter seemed a little slow to crank when I first got it. They're cheap enough so no big deal to replace it. Better safe then sorry I figure. The glass is all in great shape and the interior is very nice. The only thing I see missing is the center trim for the radio and speaker on the dash. other then that this van is as complete as you're going to find. It's also on a 1 ton chassis so you can pull anything with this van and that was the reason I got it to begin with. But my plans have changed and I am now looking for another Galaxie wagon to pull my other car with. Either way the pictures should say everything about the van that my words can't so take a look and good luck.
