Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE - THIS WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!!! 1972 Buick GS350 Convertible A real GS that is #'s matching and has great documentation! This is a pretty rare car, it's one of 645 GS convertibles that Buick built and the last year for the famous GM A-Body cars. 88,000 original miles (approx 2,250 miles per year!) Killer reliable Buick 350-4V, bullet proof Turbo350, Buick 10-bolt posi rear. Fully documented with original owner's title, new car docs, and Protect-O-Plate! The car looks great with an above average black paint job that shines beautifully, the new white bench seat interior is all brand new from "Legendary" and a white convertible top "boot" is included. The black soft top is tight and is operates well. The car runs and drives as you would expect a low mileage Buick 350 to run. These Buick 350 engines are big on low-end torque and will get this car moving very quickly. Power steering, power disc brakes, power convertible top round out the options on the car. The new flowmaster exhaust sounds real nice, not too loud, but loud enough to tell the general public this car is something different. The chrome and stainless is in great shape, and the windows are clear. Nice looking 15X7 Buick road wheels are wrapped in new radial tires with the black walls out - if you like the look of white letters you have that option as well. The car has had some body work in the past, but the paint and body work were done in the 90's and has held up very well as you can see. I wouldn't touch it until the day came to do the entire car over - and that's a long way off. The car was originally Yellow with a Saddle interior, in my opinion it looks much nicer in this color scheme. You'd really have to look hard to find any evidence of a color change, they did a nice job. This was common practice back in the day before these cars became "collectible." The trunk, floors, frame, rockers, fenders and quarters are all rust free. The car still needs some finishing touches, but will pass inspection as it is. For example the horn button is missing but the horn works with a push of the horn ring, it's got a 442 steering wheel on it as the factory Buick wheel just didn't cut it. The radio is an aftermarket unit that seems to be working but speakers will have to be connected and I did not want to cut up a brand new interior. The previous owner had under-dash speakers and those will be included with the car. We also have the correct original headlight bezels - but you have to admit, the chrome ones do look nice! The engine has just been tuned up and has been detailed - she runs great. The correct valve cover decals are now on it, the oil filler cap has been replaced and the "wing nuts" have been replaced with the std. 1/4-20 threaded hex-head bolts with washers. Please call Dave if you have any questions (617)513-7407 - no trade offers please. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime as the car is advertised elsewhere on the web. Offers entertained - I may surprise you! $19,900/OBO - 1972 Buick GS350 Convertible
