UPDATE: I just had the transmission totally rebuilt 2 weeks ago- this rig starts and runs great! YOU WON'T FIND A NICER 1971 SCOUT 800b! Brand New Paint Job with 1-year warranty- Rebuilt 345 with LESS than 500 miles on it- Brand New flat back wheels with NEW 31x10.5x15 Wild Country Tires!!! The list of recent work is long: new paint, rebuilt motor, reconditioned rods, new gaskets, cam, bearings, rod bearing, main bearings, freeze plugs, rebuilt oil pump, timing chain, starter ring giear, torch convertor, NEW STARTER, distributor, water pump tubes, radiator, heater core, electric fan, gas linkage and springs, fuel pump, steering arm, steering link, new plugs and wires, heater hoses, BRAND NEW Edlebrock 4 barrel carb, New Battery, TRANSMISSION REBUILT 2 WEEKS AGO- the list goes on and on!! Receipts and Records for all repairs and parts. I HATE TO SELL THIS TRUCK BUT NEW BABY IS FORCING ME TO GET PRACTICAL!! This can easily be either a show car or every day driver- runs and starts like new! You will not find a single dent, scratch, chip, or piece of rust on the body of this sweet rig!
