Up for bid is a 1968 Dodge Polara with a 383 V8 and 727 automatic trans. The car is mostly original and solid. The rockers and rear quarters have rot along the bottom and there are small rot spots by the rear window which I took pictures of . The quarters have screwed on patches that could be welded into place. The floors and trunk are surprisingly solid only having some rust and a couple quarter size holes. Suspension is original and still very tight. Motor and trans are in good shape and the car drives well. I was trying to fix the car up, but a lack of time and too many other projects to do are forcing me to sell. I recently gave the motor a full tune up, new radiator, water pump, hoses, valve cover gaskets, timing chain set, and a rebuilt carter 2 barrel carb. The car also has a fresh trans service with filter and a performance cooler installed. New brakes were fitted in the front along with new front hard and soft lines. Also on the list was a rebuilt alternator and regulator. The battery is a newer interstate. The seat covers are a mix of whatever was lying around as the pictures show. It could use to have new seat covers, carpet and a headliner installed. It's a good project car that doesn't need all that much considering it spent it's life in new england. I do not have a title for the car. It is not required in my state for vehicles over 25 years old. I can't even pay to get one here. I am the current owner and am willing to help in any way I can if your state requires a title. Please ask any questions. The car is still registered and available for inspection to anyone serious about bidding. The buyer is responsible for transporting or shipping the vehicle. A 500 dollar non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auctions end and the vehicle must be payed for in full and picked up within one week. Vehicle is sold as is where is due to it's age.
