Vehicle Detail
58 Chevy half ton short bed pickup truck My wife’s brother was in the process of building this truck when he died of a heart attack. We took over the build and completed in his honor. We planned to install a big block 575 blown engine, which after installation was way too much engine for a street rod. Truck is designed to handle this engine, but has a 502 Chevy crate engine with EFI system. It took about 1-1/2 years to finish the build, Ferraris hot rods of Rancho Cordova CA did the complete build, only quality parts were used. We have receipts totally over $80K, the pictures will speak for themselves!! Specs: 502 Chevy crate engine with EFI, Auto trend in Diamond springs did the accel EFI system, less than 1,000 miles on crate engine. 1738 miles total on the truck. Dave at Auto Trend tuned this engine to the best of its abilities, he is the best EFI guru I have ever seen. Turbo 400 tranny built to specs from ATO Trans shop-designed to handle 1,000 HP Fab 9 rear end with 3.00 gears designed for 1,000 hp Stainless steel double electronic fuel pump fuel tank Customer 3” exhaust system Custom interior, all stressed leather. Best truck interior I seen that’s close to stock looking... New paint by Jason Haskins paint in Rossville CA Custom hard wood bed Custom Pilkington lightly tinted green glass, looks really good against the yellow paint. The list goes on and on, this truck is built to go forever without any headaches. Drive to the local shows, or drive it cross country. Extremely comfortable ride and at such a low reserve you will not be disappointed!! The only issue is a very small ding inside one of the rear fenders from a rock that the tire threw up into the fender area. So small I can’t get the camera to show it. Good luck and happy bidding, some is going to be blown away when this truck arrives at there door!!
