Vehicle Detail
1967 Honda CB77 Superhawk. Frame number CB77-1049799, Engine number CB77E-1049822. Frame off restoration includes engine rebuilt by certified Honda mechanic to include new seals, valves, guides, pistons, and rings using Honda copper gaskets. Fuel tank sealed, new fuel lines, gas cap, and hand grips. New headers and mufflers, new seat cover, new headlight, headlight rim, footpegs, lower fork cover, fork rims, and the front forks were disassembled and cleaned and new fork seals and fork oil installed. The tank side panels were rechromed and the left tank badge is NOS and the right badge is used but very nice. The four hundred dollar professional paint application inclued sandblasting, primer, paint, and clearcoat. Newer tires and tubes, newer battery and 38 amp rectifier installed (stock selenium rectifier included). The Honda mechanic installed new shift forks at the time of the engine rebuild so the transmission shifts very smoothly. Also included is a Honda Parts Manual (book and microfiche), Honda Service Manual, two Clymers repair manuals, original owners manual, tool kit with new pouch, NOS speedometer/tachometer, NOS ignition switch and fork lock, a complete tune-up kit with new plugs, points, condensers, and two carb rebuild kits with gaskets. A 1967 original full-line Honda brochure mounted in plexiglass, a 1967 Honda novelty bank, two spare horns, a spare starter, and other miscellaneous items. It has been stored in my basement for the last two years (basement photos taken this morning- camera date wrong). This Superhawk starts easily, runs strong, and shifts smoothly with no leaks or strange noises. (1000 miles since rebuild). Everything works as it should and it draws a crowd wherever it goes-it is as shiny as the photos. Buyer pick up in center lower Michigan or ship to US and Canada at buyers expense. Clear Michigan title. The outdoor pictures from 2005 show the non-NOS mufflers that I replaced with an NOS right muffler and a very nice low-time Honda left muffler. The short straight bars were also replaced with stock bars. If you have less than 5 feedback score please contact me before bidding. NONE of the included items are for sale individually so PLEASE DON'T ASK! Thanks for looking. On May-28-11 at 17:49:38 PDT, seller added the following information: The 1/1/2004 pictures (basement) were taken on 5/28/2011.
