Vehicle Detail

This is a great mid-size SUV that strikes a good balance between the gas-guzzling road hogs and the silly little toys pretending to be real SUVs. Its a 4 door V6 that gets about 25 MPG. I love the fold down seats that provide plenty of cargo space when you need it and passenger capacity when you need that. I've driven this over 80,000 miles and I can tell you its comfortable to drive. Here's the good - I've had this about three years and replaced: the fuel pump; alternator; starter; front brakes; tires; and just recently the battery. There isn't much more that can fail. The tires have plenty of tread. I haven't seen any rust. Regular maintenance has been kept. It has a good CD - Mp3 player. It has really good handling. Here's the bad - the driver's door is messed up, though functional. You can see the dent in the pictures. It opens easily but can be difficult to close, especially from the inside. You basically have to lift up on the door frame and close it forcefully (or just get in from the passenger side). I bought new hinge pins for it but never got around to installing them. They're yours and will most likely fix the issue. The window on that door is kind of goofy sometimes but works if you push down or pull up on it. Also, I recently had a problem with the battery sometimes being drained overnight. I replaced it on May 8th and haven't had a problem yet but it's not guaranteed to have solved the issue. My mechanic says it could use a new catalytic converter. Other than that there are a few minor things here and there. There is a little trick to getting the hood to open, the spare tire needs to be patched, the AC isn't very cold. It is an older vehicle not in brand new condition. It is nonetheless very driveable, I'm only selling it to finance the restoration of another car. The Kelly Blue Book value is about $3,000 for this. I set the Buy-It-Now at $2000 and the reserve is much lower than that. Full cash payment is due within a week of auction close when you pick up the vehicle. I would be willing to deliver it within a few hundred miles if you pay the gas. Just ask me before the auction ends if you need delivery so we can work out the details. If you have any questions just hit me up.
