The direct creation of Gianni Angelli to fill his need to have a "Land Tender" to go along with his 82 foot Ketch Agneta as the story goes. An instant hit with the "Whos who" society at the time. Mostly a "build to order" car that cost nearly twice the price of the standard Fiat 500 at the time. Per the cool beach cars website "Overall, about 400 Jollys were reportedly produced over a span of about 15 years, but due to the salty environment that most lived in, many collectors and auction houses estimate that fewer than 100 remain today." This car, a 1959 Fiat Jolly 750 Abarth - the Jolly Hot Rod. The car has been in the same ownership for the last 18 years. Restored in 1993. Painted with Lacquer  and shows very well. Very bright and deep color as is typically with Lacquer paint. Paint shows some minor cracks.  A small dent on the right rear fender - pictured. No visable rust on the car anywhere. Abarth 750 Motor which was rebuilt by Chris Opert of Fiat Plus in Santa Cruz. The work included a special crank, cam, pistons, cylinder head, carb and exhaust. A very good driving car. Strong Abarth motor with a 75 MPH top speed. Sound gearbox with good syncros.  Solid suspenion. The car has a Magnesium Abarth oil pan with the correct Jaeger tachometer and water temp guages. 13 Campagnolo Mags with new tires. Original steel wheels not included. Water temp gauge in-op and the wiper motor is un-hooked. Original wicker seats. Unrestored. Removable Surry top. Only 14k original miles on the car. California titled and current registration. Original manuals and tool kit with car. Shop manual and misc. spare parts with car. All inspections welcome. We ship world wide.
