1978 Honda CB

For sale is a 1978 Honda CB750K with only 21,838 miles. The man I purchased it from bought it when it was only a year old. To me, it's in way better than average condition, especially when you remember it's 33 years old! The bike is now ready to go although it hadn't been registered & run on the road since 1982 (note the license plate). Some of the positive & negative notes: The front tire is a 3.25-19" Continental & all though the tread is good, it does show some early stages of cracking The rear tire is a newer Dunlop K181 130-90 17" tire & is in real good condition Both mirrors are missing A chrome cylinder head cover has been installed The cylinder head itself has been taped off & painted flat black (painted on the bike, it has not been removed) 100% original exhaust complete with mufflers in VERY good condition--that's hard to find Seat cover has been replaced and looks just OK, not great Front disk is the original but has been drilled (for cooler braking temperatures) The carburetors have been professionally cleaned and synchronized--the oil & filter has just been changed and a brand new battery was installed at the same time. The man I got it from said the brakes have been taken apart, cleaned and reconditioned. They seem to work just fine. All four turn signals light but don't flash & the horn is inoperative The bike starts easily, doesn't smoke and runs and shifts just fine. About the only other note worth mentioning is when I got the bike home, gas came out of the fuel over flow tube. I just simply turned the petcock to the off position.
