JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER FUN!! Here is a 1989 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd pickup truck v6 - 2.9L, packaged with a 1983 Honda 185s ATC three wheeler. Both come with no warranty obviously because they are used item and are sold (as-is). I will describe them to the best of my ability in statements below... 1983 Honda 185s ATC: Just took this thing from sitting all winter to running in a matter of 5 min. the one picture with the headlight on is running at idle. 1. Looks good for its age. 2. Engine smokes a little when first started, but doesn't while riding or after warmed up. 3. Just rode the atc yesterday up and down my block and it shifts thru all gears. 4. All in all pretty decent for 28 years old, front tire has slow leak. (tube 12 bucks at F n' Fleet.) 5. Has carb rebuilt kit in it. new spark plug and wire.(but carb prob. needs cleaned from just sitting in garage) 6. Replaced brake cables at one point during ownership. 1989 Ford Ranger XLT: This thing is so handy i don't really want to sell it, but as you can see in background of pics I have a f250 so i don't need two trucks. This truck runs and shifts well. Has good oil pressure check by shop. This is a good truck that should last a long time. Gets Great MPG...I'm getting 23-25 miles per gallon right now. Good little hauler!! 1. The outside doesn't look like new or anything, but not horrible. 2. Interior is like "mint" condition. 3. 2.9l are notorious for cracking heads... Not this one, It has NEW THICKER CASTING HEAD ASSEMBLIES ON IT! $$$ (all new gaskets too) 4. Recently had shop put new oil pump on it, also has new hyd. lifters and new pushrods. (oil pump, oil pan gaskets are a pain to replace on fords and cost $$$) 5. Needs Muffler replaced. This one rattles sometimes at idle. 6. Back tires in great shape. Front are fair to good. 7. Since owned it... replaced starter (when it was just the solenoid), water pump, and always changed oil regural, and had the trans. fluid and filter changed a couple times. Also replaced radiator from accidental slip with wrench poked hole in old one. Front shocks have been replaced too. For a 22 year old little truck it not-bad at all. If you are looking for cheap fun and a good gas mpg pickup to haul things home this is the package you have been waiting for. I prefer local pick-up, but willing to work with any shipper as long as you set-up arrangements and have it come to my house/town. Cashiers check or money order has to clear first before letting it on truck. Basically it would work like this : Win truck and three wheeler on ebay, send payment, payment clears, i send title in mail to you, and you have shipper pick up truck and ATC. Or come with cash in hand and drive it home from my house/town. The Honda is starting, running, idling better.
