1978 Ford Thunderbird one owner car Two tone champagne and brown All stainless is in great shape and polishes out nicely Rebuilt motor and transmission approximately 15,000 miles ago. Odometer now reads 78,xxx. Rebuilt carburetor (at time of engine and transmission rebuild still looks newer) Rebuilt A/C compressor and new lines Tires are in excellent shape. Car runs, stops, drives great. Not a SPEC of rust on this beauty. A true classic that brings back childhood memories as the factory AM/FM 8 Track plays music with the tilt wheel dropped down in your lap and the cruise control set on 80 as you float down the road!!! New vinyl top about 5-6 years ago, still in great shape no tears, flakin or peeling. Trunk has factory spare with jack and plastics in perfect shape. Interior is flawless with the exception of small tears in the driver lower seat, very common to this model of vehicle. Negatives: It is on california non operation. It has not been registered since 2005, however, since it was placed on non op this was planned and the vehicle fees to bring it up to date in california are $76 dollars. That will get you 2012 tags once you smog it. The clear coat on the hood has peeled off. The clear coat on the roof and trunk and starting to peel off. Other than that the rig is great.
