As you can see by our feedback we are very honest sellers. Buying an ATV online can be scary. You'll notice in a lot of auctions there is very little description and very few pictures. In our auctions you get all the details, both good and bad. If you were considering a new ATV, please give this one a look. It is in excellent condition and has been barely ridden. ATV: This ATV is a 2004 Honda Rancher AT 400. (TRX400FA) The Rancher AT is very different from the regular Rancher ES and S made in 2006 and prior. The three major differences are that the AT model is a 400 where the regular Ranchers are 350s (a noticeable power difference). The AT features a completely automatic transmission (similar to the Rubicon/Rincon - with the option of electric shift at the flip of a switch) and selectable 2/4 wheel drive where the regular Ranchers are full time. Basics of this bike include: · 4 Stroke 400cc ultra reliable Honda engine · Electric start w/ recoil back up · Reverse · 5 speed electric shift or switchable to full automatic · 4x4 on demand with the flip of a switch The transmission is absolutely the best feature of a Rancher AT. When in ESP mode it is a regular Honda 5 speed electric shift, shifted by pushing a button for changing gears up or down. In auto mode it is fully automatic, just like its larger cousin the Rubicon. The best part about this is that you get the best of both worlds and because it is hydro-mechanical unit there is no belt to slip or break. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. They may not always be the most hip or cool but they are always the best quality. Condition: This ATV is in amazing condition. It has only 407 original miles on it and 74 engine hours of use. It was owned since new locally by a very nice lady who rode it very lightly and not very often. We normally write long detailed descriptions but with this one there is nothing to say. It is a 9.5 out of 10. It has a couple very light scuffs on it but that is it. It is in excellent shape. So overall you are getting a like new, used ATV at a $100 minimum bid and no reserve. You could go buy a new one for $8000 or here you pick the price, what more could you ask for? No reserve and no “buy it now”. As for transaction details, We are located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington KY and 75 South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check or bank to bank wire transfer. I am willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you are a KY resident you will have to pay 6% sales tax upon pickup unless you can claim farm exempt. Residents of the following states will have to pay sales tax if you pick this machine up in person: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Carolina, and Washington. We do not collect sales tax from residents of any other state or country. If we ship it to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may have to pay sales tax in your home state. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. I will not sell it off eBay so there is no need to ask. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is.
