1998 Ford Explorer 2 Door Sport Edition 4 Wheel Drive I have owned this vehicle for 3 years and driven it on a daily basis. It is black in color with silver trim and gray interior. Power windows and door locks (the power door lock will not operate the drivers door) It has a 4.0 six cylinder engine 5 speed manual transmission and automatic 4WD or 4WD High and Low with the turn of a switch, It is in excellent running and driving condition. Does not use or leak any oil. I have not had to repair anything, only basic maintenance. It is equipped with air conditioning, but it does not work and I never bothered to see what was wrong with it. The paint and body are in good condition also. The paint still shines pretty good for it being 11 years old. The darker spots you see in the pictures are from me washing it and not letting it dry before I took pictures. There is rust on the factory installed step rails and there is about an inch long patch of surface rust on the rocker panel below the driver's and passenger's door (will try to show you in last picture) neither one actually has a hole or can be seen when doors are closed (easily fixable with some sandpaper and paint). It has aluminum rims and the tires still have lots of tread left on them. There is a Sony cd player installed with a front input on it for your MP3 player. The interior is in good shape. I even still have the cover for the cargo area There is a very small burn hole (maybe a little larger then a pencil tip) in the passenger seat and the drivers seat has an ink stain from a broken pen in the pocket. The dash has no cracks or rips The consoles lid hinge is broken it stays in place, it's just when you go to open it it comes off. The rear seat is in excellent condition no rips or stains and the headliner is in good condition. Buyer must pickup or arrange their own shipping within 10 days of end of auction. I will assist in any way possible. I prefer cash or cashiers check at time of pick up. If you can not pick up within 10 days I will still require payment in full within the 10 days.
