importpartsman Store I am selling a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Spyder. The car originally was a GS Spyder but has been completely swapped over to a Turbo Spyder. The 4g63 Turbo Engine has been installed and runs very well. The odometer shows 125,000 miles but nothing is original. I bought the car with a bad automatic transmission and had it rebuilt. Everything works now...comes with receipts for the transmission rebuild by very reputable transmission shop in the area. The engine has very low mileage...around 60,000 according to the original owner. The swap was done very nicely...at first glance, even as a DSMer, I didn't know it wasn't a GST from the factory. The only difference is that it has rear drum brakes and manual mirrors where all the GST's had rear disc brakes and power mirrors. I can sell a full rear disc conversion for $100 if interested. It does need some TLC and to be tuned to reach its full potential. It is a nice platform to work with as the motor and transmission are near perfect. By TLC, I mean the interior is a little dirty and the body has some dings. Its definitely not bad for a 13 year old car. Clean Title!! It is sold as-is because it is a used car.
