Vehicle Detail

1992 SUZUKI GS500E, I bought this motorcycle from a mechanic 3 months ago, he rebuilt the carbeurator and put new spark plugs in it as well as modified the battery compartment to escape the cost of the customized battery with the same specifications as one that you can buy at walmart for $30. I repaired body work to the winshield fairing and sanded and repainted the exaust with heat paint. I also replaced the light bulbs for the odometer and rpm gauge and I replaced the rear brake pads +-200 miles ago I replaced the battery +-600 miles ago. The only issues that this bike has is minor scratching, a small dent on the right side of the gas tank, the windsheild fairing could be resanded and painted and the choke switch sticks fairly often but it is easy to manipulate with a twist tie until the carb spring is replaced. It is a very fun and easy bike to ride, it is very fast and loud. The gas milage is about 50 MPG, this model has one of the best reputations for durability and longevity. It is the bike of my dreams and I wouldn't sell it but I am going back to college and need a car to drive in the winter and rain. It handles extremely well around curves and is more than powerful enough to drive on the highway and interstate. It is a perfect beginer's bike because it is very easy to handle and very simple to repair. I am including the Haynes Manual for this model which is very self explanatory in enableing the rider to do literally all repairs the bike would require. It is very reliable, it starts and runs great.. there are no electrical or mechanical malfunctions with this vehicle at all. You would have no problem driving it home if you would like. It is a beutiful, loud, powerful, and exciting motorcycle to ride.. I just need another car with seats for my children that is also suitable in winter and rain. I were to ever buy a bike again it would be this model from the 90's, I absolutely fell in love with it but I have to sell it for the down payment on the car I am purchasing. Feel free to email or call anytime---- I reserve the right to end the bidding at any time.
