1950 Studebaker Pickup I describe this truck as a light Hot Rod, from the exterior it presents itself as a stock 1950 Truck, only the tires really give it away. Under it's a updated truck with the capability of being a daily driver or a weekend cruiser. It's been owned by the current owner for about ten years, it has been rarely driven and now they feel it's time to move it on to someone who can love it and show it off. I have been asked to list this truck and sell it for them, I will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. I drove the car today about 60 miles, the engine purrs, the transmission shifts very nicely, the truck tracks straight even in high wind, the manual brakes take a firm foot to engage but bring it to a stop from 60 MPH in a normal stopping distance. The paint is in very nice shape, it needs a washing and a waxing but no oxidation at all that I can find, few chips here and there to be expected in a truck of this age. The Original build was done in excess of ten years ago ( hence the mustang II front end ), I don't know if this was a frame off or not the underside looks very clean so I would think that it was, but I have no real proof of it, The speedo gauge dosn't seem to be getting a signal it reads Ten MPH, all the other gauges work and were in normal range ie temp oil pressure, water pressure, The truck drives nicely with no strange noises or bumps, even over uneven pavement. I think the AC is 134A as the high side port looks to have that kind of adapter on it. Any other questions please feel free to ask.
