THIS IS A NO-RESERVE AUCTION, SO BID TO OWN! ////// That being said: ...here we have a rust free 1968 Dodge Charger R/T tribute car. This is a dry car from Kansas, and still retains it's Kansas title. It is not an original R/T 4-speed car, but a rotisserie restored tribute to the car. This car has only 1 mile on it since the restoration was completed. There may be a couple more miles added though due to test drives! BODY: The body was disassembled and put on a rotisserie. It was then media blasted to bare metal to expose any problem areas (undercoating has been removed). Any metal that was bad, was replaced. The frame rails are excellent. I welded on new rear 1/4 panels, new trunk pans (with extensions), new front and rear valances (with corners), new front fenders, and 1 small patch panel under the pedals on the driver side front floor pan. After the welding was completed, the entire body shell was sprayed with an epoxy primer (to prevent any future rust), then we applied a high build primer, and a base coat-clear coat (PPG) paint. The color is F-6 "Bright Green". The undercarriage, engine compartment, and inside the trunk have been painted body color -just as MOPAR would have done. The white tail stripe is painted on (not a decal). The white vinyl top is new as well. New AMD windshield. New front and rear bumpers (with bumperettes). New gas cap. New vinyl top trim. The windshield wipers do come with the car, but I deceided not to install them because this car is too nice to drive in the rain. Headlight doors open and close as they should. INTERIOR: The white interior has new seat skins, carpet, headliner, dash pad, door and rear panels, Mopar wood steering wheel, wood grain dash, wood grain console, etc....There is also a new (1970 style) "Pistol-Grip" wood grain console 4-speed shifter! DRIVE TRAIN: The engine is a fresh stock rebuilt 440" V-8 with an original 1969-1/2 Edelbrock aluminum intake with OEM Holley carbs (also rebuilt). Stock HP manifolds breathe through a new true dual flowmaster exhaust system, complete to the chrome tips. MSD Hei ignition system. Mopar performance aluminum valve covers. A new 6-pack oval air cleaner is on order, and scheduled to be here soon. The 4-speed trans shifts well, and has a new competition clutch pack. New u-joints. 8-3/4 posi rear. Complete new drum brake system all the way around. All lines and hoses are new. Complete new fuel system (everything). New wiring harnesses. It has new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, with polished 15" Torq Thrust 2 wheels. OVERALL: As with any car that has been completely disassembled, there will be some minor things that will need to be adjusted. Nothing major. This is an amazing car. Pictures do not do this car any justice. (It looks better in person!) It is a beautiful rotisserie restored 1968 Dodge Charger, with a 440 six-pack and a 4-speed. The car starts right up and runs excellent. It drives good and gets a TON of attention. Everyone that has seen this car has been amazed with it.
