please read the entire listing before asking questions or bidding. 1967 olds cutlass convertible. i bought to drive for the summer, but i don't have the time right now to get it running right. 330 engine, factory 4bbl (320 horse i believe) auto trans, jetaway. car ran and drove but the idle went up and down and the car was hard starting ( and it wasn't because of the timing). i thought maybe the carb was bad so i bought an edelbrock and installed on it. the car acted the same. i also changed the distributor to an hei, changed the plugs and still the same. im thinking the cam is bad or the engine has a cylinder or 2 with low comrpesssion. i tried starting the car the other day, and it fired and died, and i couldn't get it started again. battery went dead so its currently on charge. 12 bolt rearend. gear ratio unknown. not a posi. frame on the car has been patched in the past. bench seat interior. car was originally white with black interior. seats are blue now. i considered changing the interior to blue because the seats are pretty decent. convertible top needs changing, and either a pump went bad or the motor. top has to be put up and down by hand. carpet is junk. car has power steering, power brakes (drum) and tinted glass. AM radio. all lights work, emergency brake works, radio works, interior lights work, etc! trunk floor is pretty good except over the mounts, its been patched, like most GM cars of this era. lower quarters were repaired, and some other minor spots and then the car was painted at some point. chrome shows its age. car needs a full resto. i will include the original carb and distributor with the car. if you send a car carrier to get the car, i will work with you, but you need to arrange and pay for the shipping. if the buyer picks up the car personally, i have another pass side door and nicer trunklid off another convertible i had a couple years ago. buyer can have them. just to be clear though, a transporter (9 car carrier) will NOT take these parts. i have a clear new york transferable registration. its like a title, but smaller. its what new york issues for pre-1973 vehicles. car is currently on the road and insured. i liscenced it and then discovered the engine problems. this is a project, please remember that! you can NOT drive this home. must be towed/hauled. maybe with a little work you can have it on the road for the summer, or do a full restoration, up to you. bidders with less than 10 feedback must contact me before bidding, or bids will be cancelled. car is sold as is. what you see is what you get. please ask ANY and ALL questions prior to bidding. if you bid and win, you own it. please check into shipping BEFORE bidding also. don't tell me you can't afford it after you have already one. payment is due within 10 days from end of auction. no exceptions. buyer has 30 days to pick the car up. buyer must contact me within 48 hours of the end of the auction to talk about payment and pickup arrangements. im looking to sell this to get another classic car or truck, or a motorcycle for the summer, if you have something and are interested in this car let me know. maybe we can do something. On May-21-11 at 06:06:31 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS! THE FRAME HAS BEEN PATCHED BEFORE. I WOULD JUST REPLACE IT! IF I KEEP THE CAR THAT WHAT I PLAN ON DOING THIS WINTER. I FOUND A FRAME ABOUT 45 MINUTES FROM ME BUT I HAVEN'T HAD THE EXTRA CASH TO PICK IT UP. I CAN GIVE YOU THE GUYS NUMBER IF YOU WIN THE CAR AND WANT TO TALK WITH HIM. ****FRAME HAS BEEN PATCHED AND PROBABLY SHOULD BE REPLACED EVENTUALLY****On May-21-11 at 15:36:29 PDT, seller added the following information: i pulled the reserve so this can go to a new home where someone has the time for it. bid to own!
