1970 PLYMOUTH DUSTER 340 TRIBUTE A REAL 340 Duster was the donor for the swap into this car, 275HP 340 engine, 727 Torqueflite Transmission, 8-3/4" Sure Grip rear with 3:55's, Power Disc Brakes, Power steering, 340 torsion bars, 340 radiator, the complete transplant was done very well and looks 100%. The car has been upgraded with an Edelbrock carb and intake, along with sn MSD ignition. Naturally the car should have the Rallye Dash but that was not moved over when the car was re-done (1998). The car started out as a VERY RUST FREE California V8 car, and still wears its orig color scheme of FE5 Bright Red and has the original White bucket seats and console. The orig 318 is long gone. The entire undercarriage, rockers, trunk floor, quarters, fenders, etc. are all perfect. All original sheet metal! The original spot welds are all visible and the trunk drops still have their PLASTIC drain plugs - CRAZY!! The weather-stripping is perfect as is the glass, the windows roll up and down like it was 1970, All guages work, all interior lights work, all blinker, brake lights, reverse lights, high and low beams - all perfect!The original door buzzer still works! She's a great running car that pulls like a freight train around 3,000 RPM. She turns heads everywhere. Very easy to drive. Fendertag and buildsheet included along with car cover. The car was brought east from California in 2002, and has been garaged and covered 100% of the time. It is never driven in the rain, used only a nice weather car - never a daily driver.
