......N O R E S E R V E...... 1981 Trans Am (Custom body) has a 1978 front with all spoilers and custom areo package all fiberglassed into to the body without any lines. T-Tops. The underneath has been spray paint gloss black with no signs of rust anywhere on the body. The engine is a 400 pontiac and looks new as is the transmission with both painted orange to match the suspension. The vehicle has an Elderbrock manaflod, Holly racing carb and a MSD egnition. It also has racing fuel lines, 3 filters and a transmission cooler. and wrapped headers. It is equipped with a full roll bar and new 4 wheel disk brakes and new master cylinder. The instrument panel has been replaced with all new guages with a transmission cooler reading too. The Trans Am has a wide stance with 50 series tires all around. The rearend appears to be a racing type with new air shocks.The vehicle looks great from a few feet...but could use a new paint job. The only other info that I was able to obtain is that the prior owner paid 7k for the storage alone! The vehicle has been in self storage in south Florida for 3 years and I just bought it and had it shipped to Atlanta Ga. for re-sale. The gas tank was drained prior to storage and it has not been started since it was driven into the storage unit. I have the egnition key, but I do not have the trunk/door key. The new owner will have to get one made. I have a clear Georgia Title in my name. With a little TLC the car should be running in no time. I am not a mechanic and I have not done any work to this car; This car is sold as is where is with a NO RESERVE. I paid $818.00 to have it shipped from Fort Lauderdale Fl. to Atlanta, Ga.......so that should give you some idea of how much shipping charges are. On May-18-11 at 14:46:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Good news...a Ebayer suggested that I pour a little gas in the carb to see if it runs...I did and it started right up and ran till the gas was gone..apparently there is a gas shut off valve in the trunk cause I can see wires running from the Summit gas pump into the lower trunk...going to have a key made for the trunk tomorrow and find out.....The engine sounded sweet with no noise or misses.
